80% of humanity survive off of less than 10$ a day. 1.8 billion people who have access to a water source within 1 kilometer of their home consume around 20 liters per day, while the average person in Canada, United kingdom or U.S.A uses more than 50 liters of water a day flushing toilets. 1.4 million die each year from lack access to drinking water. 10.6 million children died in 2003 before they reached the age of 5. There are 2.2 billion children in the world, every second child lives in poverty. We spend 17 billion dollars a year on pet food, 12 billion on perfume, and 9 billion on water for the world.
